01About this project
This project involves constructing a pedway from the Churchill LRT station to the Station Lands development being built by Qualico, and also includes a connection to the Royal Alberta Museum (RAM). Update: Access to the City Hall Parkade continues to be via 102A Avenue only. It is anticipated that access from 103A Avenue will be reinstated late Summer 2026. While construction takes place, sections of 103A Avenue and 99 Street will be closed to vehicle traffic and signage will be posted to help pedestrians, cyclists and motorists navigate the area. The Edmonton Law Court Pedway closed at the beginning of July and is expected to remain closed through late Q4 2026.

02How to get on the bid list
Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
