01About this project
The project scope involves resurfacing of pavement within the project locations including renewal of curbs, gutters and sidewalks where needed. The City will coordinate with internal and external interested parties for efficient project management and implementation. Update: Construction is scheduled to start in mid-July 2026 and anticipated to complete in fall 2026. Construction involves mill and overlay of the existing pavement structure. Traffic will be impacted by single-lane closures during off-peak hours and lane spilts in the evenings.

02How to get on the bid list
Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
