01About this project
Le projet vise la réfection du complexe sportif Saint-Jean-Vianney, par le remplacement du système de réfrigération de l'aréna, la mise aux normes du bâtiment et des systèmes électromécaniques et de sécurité incendie ainsi que l'amélioration de l'accessibilité universelle et de la performance énergétique du bâtiment. Un agrandissement est également prévu pour accueillir le nouveau système de réfrigération et les équipements connexes ainsi que pour permettre l'ajout de nouveaux vestiaires, d'un garage et d'un local de rangement.

02How to get on the bid list
Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
