01About this project
Le projet consiste en la construction d'un pavillon à l'École de technologie supérieure destiné à des activités de recherche et d'innovation. Il est conçu avec le même concept architectural que la Maison des étudiants pour renforcer l'image de cohésion du campus. Le projet se divise en trois lots : décontamination et démolition, soutènement et excavation, puis construction. Les travaux des lots 1 et 2 sont terminés alors que ceux du lot 3 sont en cours. Ces derniers permettront l'ajout de : • salles de cours; • laboratoires légers; • aires d'apprentissage libres; • salle communautaire.

02How to get on the bid list
Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
