This project will complete investigations, designs and cost estimates to address the dampness and water leaks in areas outside the pool, a broken heat reclaim system and poor building cooling during the summer. Update: Construction for the Meadows Community Recreation Centre Renewal Project has reached the following milestones: Air Handling Unit (AHU) Remediation (90% Complete): Work continues to progress on schedule and is anticipated to be fully complete by the end of July 2026. Roof Remediation : The contract has been officially awarded. Active construction mobilization and site start-up will commence in mid-July 2026. Mechanical Systems Upgrades: The mechanical design has reached the 90% completion milestone and has been submitted to the City for detailed review.
