The project will construct a new multi-storey acute care hospital on a greenfield site in South Niagara. The new site will centralize and consolidate acute care services from four of Niagara Health’s existing sites. The project will upgrade aging infrastructure, consolidate services, and add space to allow for new bed capacity and expansion of services.

Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
