01About this project
This project involves planning and design for the replacement of the original air handling units, condensing units, fan coil units and their associated refrigerant piping at RE/MAX Field. The project aims to resolve the persistent air conditioning problems, reducing ongoing maintenance costs and providing a reliable, comfortable environment in the stadium. Update: Design for the RE/MAX Field Air Handling Unit and Condensing Unit project has reached 95% completion. The project continues to progress per the baseline plan, with construction tender forecasted for Q3 2026 and overall project completion still on target for Q2 2027. 02How to get on the bid list
Big projects are not usually tendered trade by trade in public. The owner hires a general contractor or construction manager, who then prequalifies trades and sends out packages. Getting on that list early is how you get the call.
- Find out who the general contractor or construction manager is.
- Prequalify on their trade-partner portal (insurance, safety record, references).
- Ask when the packages for your trade go out, and to be on the invite list.
