01About this project
This project will address water leaks in the Turbine Hall and Boiler Hall, as well as prevent further interior brickwork deterioration. The project involves the replacement of the roof assembly, the replacement or repair of roof drains and drainage lines, as well as structural upgrades to support the new roofing system. Update: Design for Rossdale Turbine Hall Roof Replacement has reached 90% completion. Construction tender is forecasted to occur in Q3/Q4 2026 and overall project is anticipated to be completed by Q4 2027. Design Activity Highlights for this month consists of: Detailed design commenced in May following a Consultant site review of the Rossdale Turbine Hall existing conditions. The pre-bid submission deliverable was received on June 30 and is currently under review. Bi-weekly meetings continue to support the design process. The building permit was submitted the week of July 13.
