09Québec bid tabulations
SEAO publishes bid tabulations (number of bidders and each bid) on its own site, but the open-data award files PMRFP reads carry only the winner and the awarded amount. Average bidders and winning-bid spreads are therefore not computed here rather than estimated.
10Methodology and sources
Included: award notices dated in this calendar month from the sources below, where the work maps to at least one PMRFP property trade (building maintenance, repairs, renovation and services).
Excluded: open tenders, cancelled calls, awards outside property trades, and Québec contracts awarded without a competitive call (gré à gré).
Amounts are as disclosed by the buyer, in Canadian dollars, and are not adjusted. Awards without a disclosed value are counted but add nothing to dollar totals.
Winners are grouped by company name across spelling variants. Winners that appear to be private individuals are counted but never named.
