Company reputation

One level per company, from 1 to 5. Earned only from things somebody else can confirm. Never bought, never earned by just showing up.

01How it works

  • Points belong to the company, not to one person. Work by any member of your company counts toward the same score.
  • The public sees your level and its name, never the number. Your company sees its score and every entry behind it in the dashboard.
  • Points come only from actions somebody else confirms: an admin, a client, a member of another company, a trade that bids on your work. Logging in, posting, viewing and votes from your own company earn nothing.
  • Everything is recalculated every night from the real records. If a record goes away, its points go with it.

02How a company earns points

ActionPointsWhat has to be true
Company profile approved by PMRFP+20Once. An admin reviewed and approved your company profile.
Verified Vendor check passed+20Once. PMRFP checked your business details and marked you a Verified Vendor.
Project with a verified client review+40Per project. A project you published has a client review that came through our emailed review link and was approved. Reviews from your staff or your own email domain don't count.
RFP drew interest from a trade+25Per RFP. An RFP you posted got interest from a trade company.
GC package drew interest from a trade+20Per package. A sub-trade package you posted got interest from another company.
GC package posted from a public award+10Per package. You posted a package from a public award notice and an admin approved it.
Forum answer accepted by the asker+15Each. The member who asked marked your answer as accepted. Not counted if the asker works at your company.
Forum answer upvoted by another company+5Per vote. From a verified member of another company. Your own votes and your coworkers' votes never count.
Forum thread rated Sharp or Gold+5 / +10Per rating. 4 stars (Sharp) earns 5, 5 stars (Gold) earns 10, from a verified member of another company.
Referred company signed up and was verifiedComing+30Coming later. A company you referred signs up and gets approved. Referrals are handled by email for now, so this isn't counted yet.

03How points are lost

  • A moderator removes a post by someone at your company: −20.
  • The record behind the points goes away: the post is deleted or hidden, a vote or rating is withdrawn, a review is retracted or rejected, an RFP or project is unpublished, or your company is unlisted. The points come off at the next nightly check, and come back if the record does.
  • An admin finds abuse (vote trading, fake reviews, a second account): the points are removed for good, with a written reason kept in our audit log.
  • No new points for 6 months: your score shrinks 5% a month, never below half of what you earned. Earn anything and it goes straight back to full.

04Limits that stop gaming

  • One member can push your company up at most 3 times in 30 days (votes and ratings together), and accept at most 2 of your answers in 30 days.
  • At most 45 forum points a day.
  • In any 30 days, at most: 5 packages with interest, 3 award packages, 8 RFPs with interest and 10 reviewed projects.
  • Votes, ratings and accepted answers only count from someone at a different company.
  • Demo and unapproved companies earn nothing. Admin corrections always carry a written reason.

05The five levels

LevelFrom
Company reputation: level 1 of 5, Member0 points
Company reputation: level 2 of 5, Contributor50 points
Company reputation: level 3 of 5, Established150 points
Company reputation: level 4 of 5, Proven400 points
Company reputation: level 5 of 5, Leader1,000 points

06What a level unlocks

  • Live: A level badge on your directory profile, your members' forum posts and your GC packages (level 2 and up).
  • Live: Listed ahead of companies at a lower level in directory search, inside the same placement tier. It never lifts a free listing above a paid one.
  • Coming: Extra public portfolio slots: 2 more at level 3, 4 at level 4, 6 at level 5.
  • Live: A rotating Featured contributor spot on the forum and the GC Hub (levels 4 and 5).
  • Coming: An early look at the TITLES of new property manager RFPs (level 5). Details stay with Trade Pro.

Levels never unlock Trade Pro: RFP details, contacts, documents and alerts stay part of the paid plan.

07Forum ranks are now company levels

The forum used to rank members from Apprentice to Master. Those ranks are retired. Forum help now counts toward your company's level, and the points earned before the switch were recounted under the rules on this page. Posting by itself no longer earns points.

Free to start

Posting an RFP is free.
So is a directory listing.

Trades pay only if they choose a paid plan, such as Trade Pro.
